A 2026 Innsbruck single ticket costs €3.30. Taxis wait in front of the terminal on the city meter (from €8.25 by day in 2026), and private transfers and seven car hire firms cover the ski resorts: the Stubai Glacier is about 1 hour 40 minutes by public transport, Seefeld about 40 minutes.

There is a taxi rank directly in front of the terminal. Inside the city, taxis charge the Innsbrucker Taxitarif 2026: €8.25 including the first kilometre, then €2.15 per kilometre, plus €45 an hour for waiting or slow traffic. Between 22:00 and 06:00 on weekdays, and all day on Sundays and public holidays, the starting fare is €10.50. Trips beyond the city boundary, for example to Mutters, Axams or the ski resorts, are not covered by the city tariff, so agree the price first.

A pre-booked transfer is the easy option with skis and children, or when your hotel is in the Stubai valley, Seefeld or the villages: a driver meets you in arrivals and drives you to the door. Four Seasons Travel has a counter directly to the left after customs; its shared classes have set maximum waits, and its private class carries up to 8 people with no other stops. The airport also lists more than a dozen local taxi and transfer firms, and your hotel can usually arrange one.
