Hotel Seppl is a four-star holiday hotel in Mutters, a village a few kilometres south of Innsbruck at the entrance to the Stubai Valley. The Mutterer Alm is on the doorstep, the hotel says Innsbruck is reachable by tram, and Axamer Lizum, Schlick 2000 and the Stubai Glacier are a short drive away.
Its 33 rooms and suites include several for up to four people. Stays are half board: a breakfast buffet, an afternoon snack of cake and soup, and a four-course dinner each evening. The spa is the draw, with a heated indoor pool behind panoramic windows onto the Nordkette, a Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and a quiet relaxation room. Out in the 2,500 square metre garden is an organic swimming pond with yoga on its platforms. There is a ski room with a boot dryer, a free shuttle to the Mutterer Alm, free parking and a lockable bike room. It suits couples, hikers and skiers who like to come back to a pool.
