dasMEI stands on Natterer Strasse in Mutters, a sunny village on the plateau just south of Innsbruck, where an inn has welcomed guests since 1904. From 2015 the old house was extended upwards and given a second wing, a wellness area and an underground garage, so behind the long history the rooms and facilities are modern.
The sauna area, for guests aged 16 and over, has a Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabins, an ice fountain and a stone pine relaxation room, open daily from 16:00 to 21:00. The restaurant cooks regional and Asian dishes, with dinner from 17:30, a Sunday brunch and a hotel bar from Wednesday to Saturday. Families get rooms for two adults and two children and a large playground in the garden. The Muttereralm is a few minutes away. It suits couples after a quiet spa break and families who want mountain space close to the city.
In winter
The Muttereralm, with 15 km of groomed runs and 8 km of toboggan runs, is a few minutes away, and the sauna area opens at 16:00 for the end of the day.
In summer
Hiking on the Muttereralm starts close to the hotel, and children have a large playground in the garden while parents sit out on the terrace.
