How we choose and check

A curated list of hotels in and around Innsbruck that can be booked online and that suit a city break, a ski trip or a summer in the mountains. Hotels cannot pay to be included, and the order of a list is never a ranking.

Facts are read from the hotel’s, venue’s or operator’s own website first, then from official sources such as the city, the lift companies, ÖBB and IVB. Review sites are used to find questions, not answers: a drawback only appears when a primary source supports it, and each one links to that source.

A hotel’s “from” price is the lowest rate Expedia showed for two adults on a real, bookable night in January 2027, including taxes; the date is printed under every price. Tickets and tours show GetYourGuide’s “from” price on the date given, and the calendar on each page has today’s. Opening dates and prices on guide pages carry their season.

Drive times to Innsbruck Airport and the old town are routed on OpenStreetMap data with free-flowing traffic. Walking times are the hotel’s own figures or measured on the map. Allow longer at busy times.
