Hotel Bierwirt is a four-star inn in Amras, on the eastern side of Innsbruck, a few minutes' drive from the A12 motorway and the city centre. The house is several centuries old and family-run, with all-wood rooms and a Tyrolean restaurant downstairs. City bus C stops in front of the hotel and tram 3 is a few minutes' walk away, so the old town is easy to reach without the car.
There are 62 rooms, from singles and doubles to three and four-bed rooms for families or friends travelling together, plus a wheelchair-accessible room and holiday apartments. The wellness area has a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a saunarium and an outdoor area, with relaxing massages to book. About 70 free parking spaces make it an easy choice if you are driving. It suits families, skiers heading out to the SKI plus CITY Pass ski areas and drivers who want space without the city traffic.
