The Perger family has run the Leipziger Hof since 1893. It stands on Defreggerstrasse in Pradl, opposite the green of Rapoldipark, about 600 m from the Hauptbahnhof, with trams 2, 3 and 5 stopping at Leipziger Platz next door for a quick ride into the old town. There are 50 air-conditioned rooms and suites, multi-bed family rooms for up to four, and ten apartments for longer stays.
The top floor is the treat: a Finnish sauna, steam room, infrared loungers and a relaxation room, free for guests every day from 16:00 to 21:00, with bathrobes and towels from reception. The breakfast buffet starts at 6:30, and the Defreggerstube cooks Austrian and Tyrolean dishes for lunch and dinner on weekdays. There is an underground garage and lockable bike storage with e-bike charging. It suits couples, families and skiers who want calm evenings outside the busiest streets.
