Bon Alpina sits in the village of Igls, on the sunny plateau above Innsbruck at the foot of the Patscherkofel, about 6 km from the city centre. The J bus leaves from the hotel every 10 minutes on weekdays, so you get mountain air and quiet nights with the old town still an easy ride away.
This is a hotel built around families. There are triple and four-bed rooms, an indoor children's playground and a youth room, and many rooms have a balcony or terrace. The indoor pool is open 10:00 to 21:00 and the heated outdoor pool runs through the winter too, alongside an adults' sauna area with a Finnish sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin. Breakfast is included, half board is available, and parking is free. Stay two nights and the Innsbruck Welcome Card is included. It suits families, skiers and anyone who prefers a village base.
In winter
The Patscherkofel ski area is a few minutes away, there is a ski room, and after skiing the heated outdoor pool (16:00 to 19:00) and sauna are waiting.
In summer
Swim outdoors from 10:00 to 21:00, then use the Welcome Card included on stays of two nights or more for cable cars and guided hikes around Igls.
