The Aqua Dome is in Längenfeld, in the Ötztal valley west of Innsbruck. By public transport, take the train to Ötztal station and the bus up the valley to Längenfeld. The thermal spa opens every day of the year from 9:00.
Day spa guests start at 9:00 with breakfast in the thermal restaurant. You collect a bath basket with a bathrobe and towel, and a lounger is reserved for you in the premium relaxation lounge, so you never have to hunt for a place.
The spa has 12 indoor and outdoor pools at 34 to 36 °C, including three bowl-shaped outdoor pools that look out over the Ötztal Alps, and more than 2,000 m² of saunas and steam rooms. A fitness area is there too if you want it.
At lunchtime the €15 food voucher goes towards a meal in the thermal and sauna restaurant, and the lounge has snacks, tea and juices all day. Treatments are 15% off. The thermal pools stay open until 22:30, so you can stay into the evening, when the pools are lit.
In winter
The Aqua Dome is a winter favourite: steam rising off the outdoor pools, snow on the peaks and warm water at 34 to 36 °C. It is an ideal rest day for skiers, and Sölden and Obergurgl are further up the same valley.
In summer
Open every day in summer too. Combine it with a walk or a canyoning trip in the Ötztal, or simply make it a lazy day out of Innsbruck.
